10 Min Card

Carole'Anne and Sandy challenge this week is to make a card in 10 minutes with Buttons.
This is the card that I created using the Cottage Wall DS paper and some fun punches. I was able to cut, stamp, punch and glue all of my card stock for the front and the inside of the card within the 10 minute time. The inside of my card took another ten minute to complete my cute little paper pieced bear. I'm really happy with the look of this card.

This is the first time for me to join in a EASY BREEZY KEWL COLOUR CHALLENGE.

I am such a paper scrap saver that I thought it would be a great idea to sew some of my scraps to the top of my card stock. I really like the look so much that I plan to sew a few scrapbook pages too. My DS paper can be found on page 13 in the new Occasions Mini called, "Sending Love Specialty". To make this card, cut your paper into 1" strips, tear the bottom and sides of the paper into the size that you want and pieced and sewed them to the top of the card stock. The little heart was punched from the Heart to Heart punch found on page 186. The cute little love can be found in the new Occasions Mini on page 28...It is called,"Tiny Tags". The flowers were hand cut from the DS paper and attached to the ribbon with dimensionals. For the inside of the card you wiil need 2 wide ovals punched and one scallop oval.

The I love you much stamp can be found in the new Occasions Mini on page 19...It is called,"Well Scripted".

SPCC Color Challenge #30

Here is this weeks color challenge on SPCC.

When I saw this week color challenge, I went to work to figure out how to create a spring card using fall colors. This is what I can up with the help of my retired DS papers.

Christmas Thank you notes

This is a fast and easy one to make, I created it for my Christmas Thank You notes. All you have to do is:

1. Cut a large snowflake
2. Punch a small flake
3. Place a brad in the center and attach to the red cardstock with the scalloped edge
4. Stamp thanks so much on a small strip of card stock and glue to the right side of the red card stock
5. Now it's time to glue the decorative piece to the front to the card and call it done!

Really liking the way that my Thank you note turned out, I thought that it would also make a cute Christmas layout.
